Susan Crouse-Kemp is a Colorado native who trained as a commercial artist at the Colorado Institute of Art.
She has exhibited her fiber art throughout Colorado and in many national juried venues. Her work is owned
by a number of private collectors.
"If someone asks me what I do, I like to answer that I am becoming an artist. My work is
like a journey without an intended destination. This has led to the development of multiple approaches
in style, from painted whole cloth pieces, to extemporaneous constructions. In many ways the inventive
nature of my methods creates a challenge to discover solutions for using the medium while reaching for
intriguing results."
